As you are well aware, at CV Performance have been pushing the XR6T vehicles well beyond their designed capabilities, hence we have developed a new pre-intercooler discharge pipe upgrade kit. After tuning many FGs we have found that under increased boost pressures the stock piping splits as per below. Due to the exiting boost temperatures, the “engineered to fail” material used by Ford would split.
Our piping upgrade kit comes complete with anodized pipe, black silicone hose and all the hose clamps needed to finish the job.

The new released SIR - X front mount intercooler system, is specifically designed to target the ineffecient loop back design of the factory intercooler.  With the special cross fins - high flow core the intercooler kit not only flows exceptionally well but also accommodates perfectly in the limited space within the factory front reinforcement bar and fits neatly within the factory front bumperbar.

By using a longer core length (compared to market trend), rapid throttle response is also enhanced in its design development that means high flow and cooling efficiency with minimal turbo lag. The piping is mandrel bent for improved flow and carefully designed to take the shortest possible route to reduce turbo lag.

The OTR Growler Cold Air Induction is a high performance over-the-radiator system. It uses two extremely efficient inverted cone rewashable pod filters attached to a ‘Y-Pipe’. The Y-pipe and filters are housed in a cowling which is specially designed to capture and channel the maximum amount of cool air through the filters and into the throttle body. The cowling clips apart for easy access to clean the filters.
As the OTR Growler does not use the vehicle’s airflow meter, a maf-less tune is required when fitted.
